Toronto FC is in a four-way tie for third place in the Eastern Conference and riding a three-game unbeaten streak

Toronto FC is in a four-way tie for third place in the Eastern Conference and riding a three-game unbeaten streak. However, the Aron Winter era will be tested Wednesday at BMO Field in the form of visiting Los Angeles Galaxy (8 p.m. kickoff on GOL TV Canada).

Winter praised Los Angeles ahead of the match, saying "LA is a good team, (with) very good players," and that midfielder David Beckham is "one of the best players in the world." That being said Winter looked inward and noted, "what I like is that my team is progressing every week."

Toronto winger Alen Stevanovic and forward Alan Gordon were heavily involved in the physical draw away to San Jose at the weekend. Playing in their second match in four nights, both attackers were rested at Tuesday's training as a precautionary measure.

Toronto FC v. Los Angeles Galaxy is presented by Carlsberg.

// COME SAY HELLO

Two Toronto FC players will be signing autographs in the Carlsberg patio from 7:00 PM-7:30 PM. We will also be raffling of an authentic Toronto FC jersey in the same location (under the Toronto FC tent). Ballots will be taken from the opening of gates until the start of the second half. See you there!

// TTC Diversions

The 509 Harbourfront and 510 Spadina streetcars are in the midst of track repairs until April 16. This will certainly impact TTC riders to BMO Field for Wednesday's match. Check out TTC Route Diversions and plan accordingly as it will take longer than usual to reach the stadium.

// GATES OPEN AT 7PM

As always, we encourage you to arrive in your seats with enough time to spare before kickoff. A pair of small events at Exhibition Place could make your search for a parking spot a tricky affair. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive early and safely. For your convenience, the Carlsberg Patio at the north entrance will open at 6:30 p.m.

// UPCOMING MATCHES

On Saturday, April 16 D.C. United visits for a 7 p.m. kickoff at BMO Field. The Black-and-Red are strong in 2011 with Charlie Davies on loan from French outfit Sochaux already netting four goals, and MLS Rookie of the Year Andy Najar is always a threat.

The following weekend, Trillium Cup foe Columbus Crew arrives Saturday, April 23 at 4 p.m. Toronto wants to get maximum points out of these Eastern Conference rivals. These early season home dates also present an opportunity for additional friends and family to attend and back the Reds in search of maximum points at home.
