CANADA 2014 U-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP: Mexico, USA qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014

Mexico and USA have become the ninth and 10th teams to qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014. The two teams qualified on Friday 17 January after semi-final wins at the CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
One more team will qualify from the CONCACAF region on Sunday 19 January. Either Costa Rica or Trinidad and Tobago will qualify through CONCACAF's match for third place.
So far, 10 of the 16 spots for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014 have been filled. After the third spot is filled by CONCACAF on Sunday, the last five spots will be filled by Africa (two), Oceania (one) and South America (two) over the next week. The Official Draw for the competition takes place on 1 March 2014.
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014 runs 5-24 August in Edmonton, Toronto, Montréal and Moncton. This marks the seventh edition of the biennial competition, with host Canada currently preparing for its sixth participation. The Canada 2014 edition will feature women’s footballers born 1994 or later.
In Friday's CONCACAF semi-final matches, Mexico won 3:1 over Costa Rica while USA won 6:0 over Trinidad and Tobago.

Le Mexique et les États-Unis qualifiées pour Canada 2014

Deux autres équipes se sont qualifiées pour la Coupe du Monde Féminine U-20 de la FIFA, Canada 2014. Le Mexique et les États-Unis ont gagnés leurs demi-finales de vendredi du Championnat U-20 féminin de la CONCACAF 2014.
Le gagnant de dimanche, soit le Costa Rica ou la Trinité-et-Tobago, se qualifierait pour la Coupe du Monde Féminine U-20 de la FIFA, Canada 2014.
Jusqu’à maintenant, 10 des 16 places à la Coupe du Monde Féminine U-20 de la FIFA, Canada 2014 sont occupées. Après le match de dimanche pour la troisième place, les cinq dernières places seront comblées par l’Afrique (2), l’Océanie (1) et l’Amérique du Sud (2) la semaine prochaine. Le Tirage au sort officiel pour la compétition se déroulera le 1er mars 2014.
La Coupe du Monde Féminine U-20 de la FIFA, Canada 2014 se déroulera du 5 au 24 août à Edmonton, Toronto, Montréal et Moncton. Il s’agira de la septième édition de la compétition biannuelle alors que le Canada en sera à sa sixième participation, cette fois à titre d’hôte. Le tournoi Canada 2014 mettra en vedettes des joueuses nées en 1994 ou après.
Le vendredi, le Mexique a vaincu le Costa Rica 3-1, tandis que les États-Unis a disposé de la Trinité-et-Tobago 6-0.

FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™

The FIFA Women's World Cup is held every four years, with the next edition to be played in Canada in 2015. It marks the first major sporting event hosted in Canada from coast to coast, with matches to be played in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montréal and Moncton. The FIFA Women's World Cup will feature the 24 best women's football teams in the world.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ will be preceded one year earlier by the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, one of two FIFA women’s youth tournaments. The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup returns to Canada for the first time since 2002. The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014 will feature 16 teams featuring players born 1994 or later.

The National Organising Committee for the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 features Victor Montagliani (chair), Steven Reed, Janine Helland, Doug Redmond, Clare Rustad, Walter Sieber and Peter Montopoli.

La Coupe du Monde Féminine de la FIFA se déroule chaque quatre ans et la prochaine édition se déroulera au Canada en 2015. Il s’agit du premier événement sportif d’envergure au Canada se déroulant d’un océan à l’autre avec des matchs au programme à Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montréal et Moncton. La Coupe du Monde Féminine de la FIFA, Canada 2015 réunira les 24 meilleures équipes nationales féminines au monde.

La Coupe du Monde Féminine de la FIFA, Canada 2015 sera précédée d’un an par la Coupe du Monde Féminine U-20 de la FIFA, qui est un des deux tournois juniors féminins organisés par la FIFA. La Coupe du Monde Féminine U-20 de la FIFA revient au Canada pour la première fois depuis son édition inaugurale, alors un tournoi U-19, en 2002. La Coupe du Monde Féminine U-20 de la FIFA, Canada 2014 réunira 16 équipes composées de joueuses nées en 1994 ou après.
