Artist Spotlight: Performance Artist, Violeta Luna and Photographer, Julio Pantoja As the festival gets closer, we'd like to take the time to highlight some artists that are going to be both presenting their work and teaching masterclasses. We have tons of great performances and masterclasses going on during the festival. Check out our full programming on our website. panamerican ROUTES | RUTAS panamericanas runs from February 27th to March 9th at Daniels Spectrum - 585 Dundas Street East.

Violeta Luna Violeta Luna is a performance Artist based out of San Francisco and Mexico City. Her performances at the 2012 Festival blew people away and now she's back for #RUTAS2014 performing her piece NK-603: Action for Performer & e-maiz and teaching a masterclass 'The Body in Action: Paths Toward a Personal Cartography' Check out Violeta Luna's masterclass and performance on our website. Julio Pantoja Julio Pantoja is a renowned photojournalist from Argentina. His work is on display during #RUTAS2014 upstairs at Daniels Spectrum as part of the 'Across the Americas' exhibit. His workshop has a flexible schedule, running from Feb. 25 to Mar. 5 and includes mentorship, fieldwork and the creation and curation of a final exhibit.
