League1 Ontario launches this Friday



The Ontario soccer landscape will take a huge step forward this Friday when League1 Ontario, the only sanctioned pro-am league in the province, will launch with three exciting days of action.
Starting Friday night at 8 p.m., Toronto FC Academy will take on Vaughan Azzurri, at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan. There is no charge for the Friday night game, but a donation of a non-perishable food item for the the Vaughan Food Bank - is requested for entrance.
Saturday and Sunday will feature doubleheaders. Full day passes will be offered for $5 on this opening weekend. Saturday sees Masters FA take on the Kingston Cataraqui Clippers at 11 a.m., followed by Internacional de Toronto facing off against the Windsor Stars at 1 p.m.
The action concludes Sunday with Sigma FC taking on Durham FC at 11 a.m. The final game of the weekend will be ANB Futbol against the Woodbridge Strikers at 1 p.m.
