The 2nd annual Futsal Canada Conference finished up this past weekend in Toronto with representatives from eleven leagues in three provinces in attendance

Futsal Canada Members
The three day event successfully brought everyone together at Metro Hall in downtown Toronto to focus on a variety of futsal items ranging from coaching, officiating, a set tournament calendar, marketing, media relations, the return of the F-PIC's program (futsal player identification camps), and putting pen to paper on a new membership agreement that saw a unanimous decision to collectively move forward.
Directors Bob Tibbo (Ottawa) and Kris Fernandes (Toronto) presented on various topics throughout the conference while taking valuable information and recommendations from an engaging membership that will steer each league and the organization forward.
The recently forged partnership with the Brazilian Futsal Federation from this past summer was widely lauded by all members as the benefits of the agreement will immediately pay dividends to the Canadian futsal community effective this season.
Ontario Soccer Association Ron Smale made a special guest appearance on Sunday to take questions while listening to league executives and taking back recommendations to further the sport's growth in Ontario.
Toronto Soccer Association President Bill Spiers also attended on day 2 and the 35+ year veteran in soccer administration was helpful in answering questions and offering advice in regards to district matters.
Afterwards, members were treated to a complimentary MLS match at Canada's National Stadium, BMO Field.
