RUSSIA 2018: Daily Media Update for 27 June



Several upcoming events are scheduled in Moscow, some requiring media registration for those wishing to attend.
A second media briefing on refereeing will take place on 29 June at 15:00 (Moscow time) in the press conference room in Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow. Accredited media will have the opportunity to raise general questions on refereeing matters for the first 48 matches of the competition.
On the same day, starting at 09:30, the Sport and the Future conference will gather over 300 representatives from international sporting organisations to leading experts on worldwide sports to discuss current trends in developing the global sports industry. Information about media accreditation for this event is available upon request via email. Please write to sportandfuture2018@fifama.org.
Media is also invited to the FIFA Foundation Festival tournament at the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ Football Park at Red Square, Moscow. The FIFA Foundation Festival is taking place in Moscow from 23 June to 3 July and brings 48 non-governmental organisations together from 38 countries that work year-round to make a positive difference through football. On Saturday 30 June, people at the Red Square will see the culmination of the festival with a football tournament starting at 10:00 and ending with the awards at 15.30. Attending will be representatives of FIFA and the LOC, including FIFA Legends. Media Channel TVSee matchday-1 press conferences in Volgograd, Samara, Kaliningrad and Saransk live on the Media Channel. If simultaneous MD-1 media activities are taking place, one shall be streamed live and any others will be shown immediately after. In the event there is a post-match press conference during MD-1 activities, priority is given to the post-match press conference. All post-match press conferences are also archived on the Media Channel and are available for viewing from the Media Channel TV section.
