What can coaches expect to learn by attending the workshops?

The “soccer brain” really is the difference maker and an increasing body of sports science research is highlighting the importance of the cognitive skills of the players when playing the game. In soccer, almost everything players do and almost every decision they make is because of what they see – and the sooner a player sees something, the quicker they can act. Improving a players “field vision”, the awareness of everything around them, will help them become a much more dynamic and effective player.
These special clinics will offer you an insight to training methods previously only available on the highest coaching awards in Europe, and at the elite levels of the game.
Kevin will introduce you to some of the most essential, yet largely under developed, aspects of elite performance and show you how to train them through a range of innovative exercises.
Using these methods will help your squad become more dynamic and effective. Your players will develop essential cognitive aspects of elite performance such as concentration, awareness, anticipation and cognitive transition.
As a result, your players will possess greater awareness on and off the ball and “see the game” more clearly – enabling them to anticipate the play, make better decisions and do the right thing, at the right time.
