OSA NEWS: OPDL trial information, Canada Women's U-20 move on to quarter-finals, Canada stumbles but advances at U-15 CONCACAF Championships


Canada Women's U-20 move on to quarter-finals
 
After a slow start to the tournament, Canada's Women's U-20 team has won its final two games of the group stage and will advance to the quarter-finals to face Germany on Saturday in Edmonton.
Since a 1-0 defeat to Ghana and a first half against Finland where the team was down two goals, Canada has stepped up.

OSA releases OPDL trial information 
 
The OSA has released trial information for the OPDL 2015 season. 
It outlines information on open trials and player transfers pertaining to 2002 and 2001 players.

Canada stumbles but advances at U-15 CONCACAF Championships
 
Canada's U-15 Girls squad didn't finish their group stage as strong as they would have liked at the CONCACAF Championships, but their 1-1 draw against Haiti was enough to launch them into the knockout stages. 
Canada, which has eight players from Ontario, will now take on Costa Rica in the quarterfinals. The match will take place tonight at 6:30 p.m.

League1 Ontario defender heading abroad
 
Another League1 Ontario player has found opportunity through the league. 
Vince Sasso, a talented fullback who has featured often for the Woodbridge Strikers this season, has signed with German club FCA Darmstadt 04. 
The news comes less than a week after it was announced that Sigma FC defender Johnny Grant is heading on an extended training period with Belgium powerhouse KRC Genk.
