PAN AMERICAN LATIN JAZZ 2012: unique one-day event in Canada that will celebrate the culture of the Americas on Saturday, July 14 at Mel Lastman Square in Toronto

The 2012 Pan American LATIN JAZZ Festival is a unique one-day event in Canada that will celebrate the culture of the Americas on Saturday, July 14 at Mel Lastman Square in Toronto.
The Pan American Latin Jazz Festival will grow to a full weekend by the year of the Pan Am Games in 2015.
Artists for this first edition who pay homage to the Latin Jazz genre will be: the award-winning flutist and virtuoso Kena-flute player Carlos Bastidas (Colombia), Juno winner Hilario Durán (Cuba), singer/songwriter and radio host in Jazz FM.91 Laura Fernández (Spain), singer/songwriter and Ottawa’s leading Latin musician Alicia Borisonik (Argentina), master guitarist Pablo Gutierrez (Chile), high energy ensemble Samba Toronto (Brazil), 2010 Canadian smooth jazz guitarist of the year Rob Tardik (Canada), Brownman and CRUZAO Latin-Jazz Trio (Trinidad, Mexico and Cuba), Carla Casanova (Venezuela), Gypsy Kittenz (Canada, Uruguay) and Giovanni Ruiz (Colombia), among others.
Traditional food will be available for purchase along with display tables of arts and crafts, as well as our exhibitors from the travel and tourism industry.
When: Saturday, July 14th, 2012, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Where: Mel Lastman Square, 5100 Yonge Street, Toronto.
