ONE visit from Katy Perry, and a Santa Barbara stripper found herself out of a job. What happened?
A warning to all the strippers reading this: if an international pop star comes for a visit, don’t take pictures — and DEFINITELY don’t share them online.Katy Perry and her singer-songwriter beau John Mayer dropped into a Spearmint Rhino strip club in Santa Barbra following the Super Bowl on February 3. While there, they reportedly dropped thousands of dollars in cash enjoying the hospitality.
Amid the strip shows, Perry posed for a pic with a few of the ladies who worked at the venue — which one stripper, Cassidy, then posted online for all to see.
Unfortunately, 23-year-old Cassidy’s eagerness to share her pop star encounter was a direct contradiction of the club’s “no cameras” rule, and as the stripper-selfie was reposted over and over online, bosses from Spearmint Rhino’s head office promptly let the young mum go.
Katy, we think it’s time to step in — perhaps Cassidy could be a back-up dancer on your next tour?
