The World Futsal Association (AMF) has announced
that the Colombian Futsal Federation, headed by Manuel Sanchez, has been
selected to host the second Women's World Cup, to be held next November 2013 in the city
of Barrancabermeja.

The event will be held in November, 2013, in a new 7,000-seat stadium

The World Games will take place July 25 through
Aug. 4, 2013, in Cali. The Futsal segment of the Games will take place in Buga,

TEAM CANADA is preparing to participate in both world events. Rafael Da Silva, from a great coach from Brazil is Canada's National Technical Director and he is in charge of U-14 for the Pan Am Games in Venezuela, October 2013 for the youth tournament, and he is also currently training with the members of the adult Men's TEAM Canada that will participate in The 2013 World Games.
Juan Carlos Cordero, a Chilean coach graduated from the Chilean National Soccer Federation and who has attended FIFA Coca Cola Soccer Academy High Performance Training, under Heinz Marotzke, VP of the Hispanic Canadian Soccer Coaches Association, and wrote some books on soccer and futsal such as "Handbook of Soccer Copaching", with international Peruvian professional soccer instructor Luis Ruidott, is in charge of Team Canada Women's Futsal. The players started their official training camp in February 2013 and now waiting for THE WORLD WOMEN'S FUTSAL CHALLENGE Championship, to be held in Toronto, Canada, September 6-9, 2013, playing against TEAM BRAZIL, the current best team in the world, and United States, plus TEAM QUEBEC AND TEAM ALBERTA.
