WOMEN'S FUTSAL NATIONAL TEAM CANADA TIED 2-2 WITH WORLD CHAMPIONS IN ST. CATHERINES CUP., Niagara Cup by penalties to Catalunya










Ana Oliveira and Jalen Simms scored the two goals, TEAM CANADAmoved the ball amazingly and surprised the Spaniard national futsal team and world champions again, after being runner-up at CANADA 2013 WOMEN'S FUTSAL PRE-WORLD CUP at Powerade Centre. Canada lost only n the penalty shoots for the cup definition, but everyone got a great impression of the Canadian girls and women. Both games were like a World Cup final and played at full high-intensity. "It was like a World Cup's final", Catalunya coach Christian Roldan admitted.

Next week, WNT TEAM CANADA National Head Coach, Juan Carlos Cordero, and his NCCP-certified assistant coach, Nicolas Cordero-Ramirez, will set up the formal Training Plan for COLOMBIA 2013 Women's Futsal World Cup, where Canada will participate in Pool "A" with host country Colombia, Australia and Morocco.

Now, the Canadian roster must finally come to 12 players (2 GK, 10 field players). By first week of October, WNT team must be training together 3 times a week in a gym facilities of TCSDB, as well as doing self-training the other days they are not with WNT.

October 15 is the day to submit the official list to THE WORLD CUP organizers, for Barrancabermeja, Colombia, November 7 - 16, 2013.
