Dear WNT TEAM CANADA Players, Manager,
Coaches and Parents:
Please find enclosed the official
information regarding CANADA 2013 International Tournament to be held in the
City of Brampton, September 6 & 7, 2013, at the professional arena Powerade
Centre.
CITY OF
COMPETITION
The City of Brampton is located 20
minutes from the City of Toronto and 10 minutes from Toronto Pearson
International Airport, with a climate oscillating between 20 and 24 degrees
Celsius. For next week, temperatures are forecasted to be a high of 28 C and
low between 12 – 14 degrees.
ARRIVAL DATE :
International WNT, MNT and YNT delegations
will arrive by Thursday September 5th,2013 at Toronto Pearson
International Airport, which is located in the City of Mississauga, 15 minutes
from the City of Toronto, the Canadian
Futsalon Federation, will make arrangements to move those delegations
to designated Hotel according to the itinerary sent by each
delegation.

TEAM CANADA MANDATORY TRAINING PRACTICE AND GAMES PARTICIPATION
Also, WNT TEAM CANADA will have
training practices on Monday September 2 (either indoor or outdoor, 6-8 p.m.) .
On Tuesday September 3, FUTSALCA has scheduled a Futsal Clinic at Bolton
Wanderers Futsal facilities in Bolton (7:30 p.m). Wednesday September 4 or
Thursday September 5 night, 8-10 pm, we will return to our primary indoor
facility at Cardinal McGuigan Catholic
Secondary School (Finch West at Keele Street), which will be our training
venue from here up to beginning of November 2013 when we travel to Barrancabermeja (Nov. 7-16) to participate
in Pool A at COLOMBIA 2013 AMF Women’s Futsal World Cup.
We
need that all players get in contact with AMADY RIQUELME, our Team Canada Manager, for mandatory
training from now to Pre-World Cup. Also, you need to provide your passport
number as verification for Pre-World Cup and World Cup events. We have
accommodated College and University trainings, scheduled ours so not to
interfere with pre-season and season training, but for POWERADE CENTRE Event we
need mandatory attendance to the games.
Players that need a letter to their
university or college teams or their clubs, please ask for an official letter
from FUTSALCA president.
We have work hard for more than six
month and now it is the time to just do it! Great commitment and good luck,
ladies. Make Canada proud of your talents and skills against the best national
teams in the world.
OPENING CEREMONY :
The
opening ceremony will be held on Friday September 6th, 2013 at 7:00 pm,
leaving from the hotel to the Powerade Centre, at 06:00 pm.
