The £46 dress worn by the Duchess of Cambridge for her first official family portrait with William and Prince George sold out within two hours of the photo's publication.
The photo, taken by Kate's father, Michael Middleton, showed the new mother looking relaxed and elegant in the fuchsia Jolene dress, by British maternity label Seraphine.
And it seems expectant fans thought so too, storming its website overnight in the hope of getting the same look.
Founder of Seraphine, Cecile Reinaud, told MailOnline that there is now a four-week waiting list for the dress, which has sold out in every colourway, with pre-orders growing by the minute.
'The response has been phenomenal with the dress being sold out within two hours after the news came out at midnight,' she said this afternoon.
Mrs Reinaud said that the bulk of the orders are coming from the U.S. and the UK, but 'there are still a lot of other nationalities wanting to buy the dress.'
And she believes that her company will be able to keep up with demand in the coming weeks.
'We have wonderful suppliers who are just as excited as us about this news and are working hard to produce more stock to satisfy this incredible demand,' she said.
Mrs Reinaud added in a press release that it was 'an immense honour' and 'a dream come true' that the Duchess had chosen a Seraphine dress for her official family photograph.
'She looks so radiant in our bright fuchsia design, it’s a perfect choice to show the world her happiness with her newborn and husband,' she said.
The Jolene dress is the latest Seraphine maternity look to have benefited from the so-called 'Kate Effect'.
Recent images of Kate wearing the Renata dress and Blossom dress resulted in a sales increase of over 100per cent for the month of July.
Both dresses also sold out within hours of the Duchess wearing them and an eight-week waiting list quickly built up for customers eager to buy the same looks.
