HOT CELEBRITIES: Anne Hathaway shows off her Hollywood style credentials in daring backless pearl studded gown at Les Misérables premiere

She complained she looked like her gay brother after cutting off her hair and slimming down for the film.
But Anne Hathaway looked nothing short of red carpet royalty as she stepped out to the London premiere of Les Misérables on Wednesday night.

The 30-year-old actress showed off her slim shape in a glamorous pearl Givenchy gown that boasted sequin detail and off the shoulder sleeves.
The floor-length gown fell perfectly over her figure, hugging her hips before flowing out around her feet but the real drama of the dress came from the back.
The gown boasted a dipped hemline that scooped to the small of her back, leaving plenty of skin on show.

It's a tricky style to pull off, but the design suits Anne's petite frame.
Anne had her elfish cropped hair styled with a sparse fringe swept across her forehead.
The star, who takes on the lead female role of Fantine in the film, lost more than 25lbs for her part in the flick but she appears to have regained her feminine shape after finishing the film.
Anne told reporters that bagging a part in the film was a 'dream'.

She said: 'It’s just the sort of job you feel you should give your pay cheque back at the end of the week, it was such a dream and I can’t believe I’m the girl that got to play Fantine.'
Asked if she would have gone beyond the drastic lengths of cutting her brunette locks and slimming down to play her emaciated character, Hathaway added: 'I didn’t have to pull out my teeth, but no one asked, so yes, I would do anything.'
There was certainly no lack of glamour from the girls with Amanda Seyfried, Isla Fisher and Samantha Barks all dressed to impress at the event.
Miss Seyfried also wowed in the style stakes in a Balenciaga ensemble that boasted a plunging neckline and peplum detail.
