Wow... what a conclusion to Saturday! It's been a nine-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge and while the game isn't going to feature as a case study in any text book on defending, it certainly made for an entertaining encounter.
You can catch the fall-out on the homepage but that's all from me here. Thanks for following but remember to check back tomorrow for live coverage from three more games including Aston Villa vs Hull, Tottenham vs Liverpool and Leicester vs Arsenal.
Cheerio.
19:24
FULL-TIME: Everton 3-6 Chelsea
Six of the best: Diego Costa of Chelsea celebrates scoring his team's sixth goal at Goodison Park
19:23
From OptaJoe
19:22
90+3min: It's been a terrible day for defending and it's only getting worse, as Chelsea's Gary Cahill is forced off for treatment after picking up a knock.
19:17
GOAL! Everton 3-6 CHELSEA
90min: What a terrible introduction for Besic. The midfielder carelessly gives the ball away, and Mikel's back heel releases Diego Costa in on goal who takes the ball past Howard before slotting home. There will be five additional minutes.
19:17
Chelsea and Everton substitution
89min: Final change for Chelsea as Fabregas departs in favour of Drogba. Roberto Martinez also feels the day is done as defensive midfielder Muhamed Besic comes on for Lukaku.
19:16
86min: Didier Drogba is getting ready to come on for Chelsea, with this game just about done for Everton. Mind you we have at least four minutes left - which as we have seen could easily see another two goals.
19:14
83min: I'm bored of goals so how about a yellow card? Fabregas sees yellow for tripping near the Chelsea box. Filipe Luis has also replaced Hazard for the Blues.
Proving a point: Samuel Eto'o celebrates scoring on his Everton debut
19:13
From OptaJoe
19:13
80min: Chance for Mirallas! This game has gone absolutely bonkers. The Belgian looks like he has pulled another goal back for Everton, but Courtois's out-stretched arm and fingertips push the ball away to safety.
19:05
GOAL! Everton 3-5 CHELSEA
77min: I'm starting  to find out what a basketball scorekeeper feels like as Everton have the hope ripped out of them again as Ramires turns home from inside the box.
19:03
GOAL! EVERTON 3-4 Chelsea
76min: It was in the script wasn't it? Samuel Eto'o comes off the bench and on to the score sheet as he heads home Baines' cross. John Obi Mikel replaces Willian for the Blues.
19:01
GOAL! Everton 2-4 CHELSEA
74min: Well that didn't last long. Nemanja Matic extends Chelsea's advantage with a neat finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Tempers flare up: Everton's Tim Howard confronts Chelsea's Diego Costa (left) after Chelsea's third goal
18:57
GOAL! EVERTON 2-3 Chelsea
69min: What a response! Steven Naismith has pulled a goal back two minutes later, racing on to McGeady's pass before slotting past Courtois.
That brought a huge cheer from the home fans, and here's another as Eto'o comes on for his Toffees debut in place of McGeady.
18:54
GOAL! Everton 1-3 CHELSEA
67min: Fabulous run from Eden Hazard, who cuts inside from the left before his byline cross is turned into his own goal by Seamus Coleman at the near post.
Costa has a verbal dig at Howard in the aftermath, with the American responding angrily by grabbing the striker near his chest - an action that sees him booked.
18:53
65min: Ramires is booked for a foul on Steven Naismith but the resulting Everton free-kick 25 yards out comes to nothing as Mirallas rockets straight at the wall. Eto'o is getting ready to come on.
18:50
62min: Just under 30 minutes to go for Everton, who have dominated this half so far. The Toffees have had 73 per cent of the ball but it's Chelsea who have so far produced the best chances. Surely Eto'o will be on at some point to help try and turn this dominance into chances and goals?
Denied: Chelsea's Diego Costa(left) is thwarted by Everton's goalkeeper Tim Howard
18:47
59min: Mind you, Costa is still just about focusing on his game. The striker holds up play on the edge of the Everton box before playing in Ivanovic who fires wide at the near post.
18:45
56min: Tempers are flaring and Costa is losing his head after he reacts a little angrily following some shirt pulling from Coleman. The Everton full-back knows exactly what he is doing and it works too as the Spaniard is booked.
18:42
54min: The next installment of Costa vs Howard doesn't take long to follow, but again the American comes out on top, saving easily at his near post from a tight angle following Hazard's deft pass inside the box.
Grounded: Cesc Fabregas of Chelsea grimaces after a challenge from Steven Naismith of Everton
18:41
53min: Costa for three? No! Not for the first time, Fabregas again plays in Costa behind Distin, but this time the Spaniard's shot across goal is tipped behind by Howard.
18:38
50min: A few jeers from the Chelsea fans on the touchline for Samuel Eto'o warming up, but the Chelsea players are slightly more welcoming as fellow subs including Didier Droigba share a high-five with the former Blues star.
18:36
48min: An encouraging start to the second half for Everton, well from a build up perspective - not a finishing one.
The ball is passed into the path of Lukaku 25 yards out but the former Chelsea striker can only blast miles over the bar.
18:34
SECOND-HALF: Everton restart - no changes from either side
Heads up: Everton's Kevin Mirallas pulls a goal back for the Toffees before the break
18:30
So can Everton hit back against Chelsea with Lukaku?
18:29
PLAYER WATCH: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
Fancy getting involved, Eden? Hazard hasn't really got involved in this first half as displayed by his heat map below.

18:18
HALF-TIME: Everton 1-2 Chelsea
Super Kev: Kevin Mirallas of Everton celebrates pulling a goal back in the final minute of the first half
18:15
GOAL! EVERTON 1-2 Chelsea
45min: Game on! On the stroke of half-time, Everton work the ball down the right side where Coleman whips in a cross for Kevin Mirallas, who beats Gary Cahill to the ball, to head home.
18:15
44min: It's another offside incident that's been called wrong, but this time it comes to Everton's aid.
Distin is caught flat-footed as Costa is played in, with the Spaniard then playing a casual shot across goal and off the post.
It was a lazy finish, perhaps indicating he knew the whistle had gone. Either way the Toffees have got away with it.
18:13
42min: More good play from Everton, but still no worthwhile chance. Play is brought in from the left, but a neat one-touch move involving McGeady, Naismith and Lukaku results in Chelsea just clearing their lines.
18:10
39min: It's been a good spell of possession for Everton in the last few minutes but can they force a breakthrough before half-time?
Lukaku is going to have to be a bit sharper as the striker is a good two yards offside following a through ball.
18:06
36min: Something at least for the home fans to applaud as Mirallas cuts inside from the left before seeing his curling effort towards the top corner well caught by Courtois.
Offside? Replays show Branislav Ivanovic was marginally offside for Chelsea's second goal
18:06
33min: Apart from the first three minutes it's been a rather even contest, but one constant feature so far this season for Chelsea has been the effectiveness of Fabregas. The former Arsenal star hasn't out a foot wrong and is pulling the midfield strings.
18:01
30min: Naughty from Mirallas, who treads on Fabregas's fingers before the Spaniard does well to keep his composure while confronting the Belgian.
Moments later, perhaps fired up by the incident, Fabregas sees a low 20-yard drive deflected wide by Distin for a corner.
Grounded: Eden Hazard (right) of Chelsea is tackled by Seamus Coleman of Everton
17:57
27min: Everton back on the attack but Thibaut Courtois is again untroubled in the Chelsea goal as Aiden McGeady collects a pass from Kevin Mirallas before seeing his low drive across the target deflected over for a corner.
Denied: Everton's Sylvain Distin scores following a corner but it was ruled out for offside
17:54
24min: That's a crunching challenge from Gareth Barry, but the midfielder is perhaps unlucky to concede a free-kick after appearing to win the ball with a sliding challenge on Willian. Howard collects the resulting set-piece from a long Fabregas delivery.
17:51
22min: Naismith again! This time the forward sees his attempt from inside the box well blocked by some desperate Chelsea defending following a byline cut-back from Seamus Cleman.
Cheeky: Chelsea's manager Jose Mourinho (right) embraces Everton's Samuel Eto'o before the game
17:49
19min: It's taken a while, but Everton are just starting to shade the play. Leighton Baines is becoming involved on the left while Steven Naismith fires just off target from 25 yards.
17:47
16min: Goal for Everton! No, offside! Lukaku's header from a corner clatters off the crossbar before Sylvain Distin prods home from a yard out.
The Everton defender is quickly flagged for offside though before he can celebrate. It's a good call too.

From MailSport on Twitter
17:42
From InfostradaLive
17:40
9min: The Everton errors are piling up! Now Tim Howard is VERY fortunate not to concede a free-kick on the edge of the box, after catching the ball outside his penalty area. There was a huge appeal from Eden Hazard but the referee shows mercy on the Toffees.
Quick fire double: Branislav Ivanovic of Chelsea scores his sides second goal despite appeals for offside
17:39
6min: There's been some sort of response from Everton, but nothing in the way of chances. In truth I think the Toffees are still recovering from that terrible start.
17:33
GOAL! Everton 0-2 CHELSEA
3min: Devastating. We haven't even played three minutes and Chelsea have doubled their lead! A pass across the box finds Ramires who at full stretch pokes a through ball for Branislav Ivaonvic. The full-back is slightly offside but play goes on as he too smashes past Howard. Boos have already gone up from the home fans.
17:31
GOAL! Everton 0-1 CHELSEA
1min: What a start! It takes just 34 seconds for Chelsea to take the lead as Cesc Fabregas threads a delightful through ball in for Diego Costa to fire through Tim Howard. Three in as many games for the Spaniard!
Quick off the mark: Diego Costa (right) of Chelsea scores the opening goal inside 35 seconds
