Canadian television coverage of UEFA Women’s EURO 2013, will be broadcast live in Canada on TSN, TSN2, TSN Mobile, RDS and RDS2 starting 21 July

The elimination matches of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2013 – from the quarter-final fixtures through to the championship final on 28 July – will be broadcast live in Canada on TSN, TSN2, TSN Mobile, RDS and RDS2 starting this Sunday 21 July.
The English broadcast on TSN will feature in-studio commentary from TSN host Luke Wileman, analyst Jason deVos, and invited Canadian national head coach John Herdman. The trio will provide pre-match, half-time and post-match commentary on the last seven matches from 21-28 July.
Bell Media’s TSN is a Media Rights Licensee for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015. Just last year, it provided memorable coverage of Canada’s success at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The Canada-USA semi-final match on 6 August drew an average 3.84 million Canadians on TSN, CTV and V.

Eight teams advance to Women's EURO 2013 quarter final stage

There are no more second chances on the road to the UEFA Women's EURO 2013 championship final on 28 July. From the 12-team field, eight teams escaped the group phase and advanced to the elimination quarter-final phase which starts this Sunday 21 July.
On Sunday 21 July, Sweden will face Iceland in Halmstad and Italy will face Germany in Växjö on the first day of quarter-final action. On Monday 22 July, Norway will face Spain in Kalmar and France will face Denmark in Linköping.
Following the quarter-final matches, four teams will compete in the semi-final phase on 24 and 25 July in Göteborg and Norrköping. The continental championship will then be played on Sunday 28 July in Solna.
The UEFA Women's EURO 2013 runs 10-28 July in Sweden. The continental championship precedes the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 Qualifiers which start on 20 September 2013.

Europe’s qualification rounds continue this 20 September 2013 as 42 nations pick up the road to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015. More than 200 matches will be played to determine the eight nations that qualify for Canada 2015.
The 42 nations are divided into seven groups of six, with each group’s winner earning a ticket to Canada 2015 by 17 September 2014.
Four group runners up (with the best record against teams that finish first, third, fourth and fifth in their group) will advance to a playoff round, from which one winner will qualify for Canada 2015 by 27 November 2014.

Group 2 – Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Romania, Estonia, FYR Macedonia

FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015
The FIFA Women's World Cup is held every four years, with the next edition to be played in Canada in 2015. It marks the first major sporting event hosted in Canada from coast to coast, with matches to be played in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montréal and Moncton. The FIFA Women's World Cup will feature the 24 best women's football teams in the world.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 will be preceded one year earlier by the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, one of two FIFA women’s youth tournaments. The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup returns to Canada for the first time since 2002. The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014 will feature 16 teams featuring players born 1994 or later.
The National Organising Committee for the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 features Victor Montagliani (chair), Steven Reed, Janine Helland, Doug Redmond, Clare Rustad, Walter Sieber and Peter Montopoli.
