Of Puerto Rican descent and raised in New Jersey, Jimmy has performed and recorded with a who's who of salsa and Latin jazz including Andy Gonzalez, Eddie Palmieri, Ray Barreto, Ruben Blades, Willie Colon and Ocar D'Leon.

As partners on this project, Elumena and Lula will address injury and health concerns of musicians and other artists. Commencing the third week of May 2013, Elumena Health Clinics will run a satellite location on Monday mornings at Lula and will provide highly-subsidised fees for qualified artists.
