Lady Gabriella Windsor is engaged to Thomas Kingston, according to multiple reports.
The good news was announced in a statement issued by Buckingham Palace on behalf of Lady Gabriella's parents, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. It read (via ITV News): "Prince and Princess Michael of Kent are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor to Mr Thomas Kingston. The engagement took place in August; Mr Kingston proposed on the Isle of Sark."
Lady Gabriella's father, Prince Michael, is the Queen's first cousin, which makes her first cousin once removed of the monarch. Her older brother, Lord Frederick, married actress Sophie Winkleman at Hampton Court Palace in 2009.
According to royal correspondent Rebecca English, Lady Gabriella is a senior director at Branding Latin America, a brand-positioning company based in Knightsbridge, London. She is also a writer and has contributed to outlets including The Sunday Telegraph and The Spectator and the Spanish edition of Hello!.
Tom works at Devonport Capital, a frontier market investment company, and previously dated Pippa Middleton. The groom-to-be was linked to the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister in 2011, and they were spotted at the Cheltenham races together in 2013.
An exact date for the upcoming nuptials is yet to be announced, although it's expected to be in spring 2019.
