- Watford face tough challenge after excellent start as they travel to Arsenal
- Huddersfield and Newcastle are both still looking for their first league victory
Premier League
champions Manchester City will go top of the table - until this evening
at least - if they beat Brighton at home on Saturday afternoon.
Watford
meanwhile, who are currently fourth after an excellent start, face a
tough test as they visit Arsenal, while winless Newcastle and
Huddersfield are also in action.
Sportsmail
brings you action from all the 3pm Premier League kick-offs as they
happen, with out live coverage beginning at 1.30pm.
Mike Ashley in attendance at Newcastle
Craig Hope at St James' Park: Mike
Ashley is here for the first time since May, 2017. The unpopular owner
left it late before taking his seat and is only a few spaces away from
England boss Gareth Southgate.
Brighton make a bright start
Nobody giving Brighton much of a chance at Manchester City
today but they've started on the front foot, winning an early corner.
City manage to clear their lines.
KICK-OFF: We're underway in the 3pm Premier League matches

Koscielny ahead of schedule in Achilles injury recovery
Matt Barlow at the Emirates Stadium: Laurent
Koscielny reports he is ahead of schedule on his recovery from the
Achilles injury he suffered at the end of last season.
In his captain’s programme notes, Koscielny said: “I am training with more intensity at the moment although I have to rest my tendon. I am currently ahead of schedule in my rehabilitation which I am really pleased about. However I don’t want to cut corners.
'I want to come back when I am fully ready and I can focus 100 per cent on the game I will play, more than worrying about how I would feel during or after it.
'Trust me, I can’t wait to be back on the pitch but I have to be wise as well. Rushing my return would not be a good thing and I am happy how things are going at the moment.'

10 minutes until kick-off
Not much longer to wait now until the six 3pm matches get underway.
Leicester's players are put through their paces at Newcastle
Spurs ready for action at Huddersfield
Rob Draper at the London Stadium: If these are the last months of Jose Mourinho in English football, they will have been atypical.
Of course, the conflict and the preening, the displays for TV cameras at training and the staged outrage of press conferences are all par for the course. That was Mourinho's default from the moment he arrived at Chelsea and swept us all away.
But the football? That's a wholly different matter. HIs teams were never like this; supine, incoherent and timid. That awful period at Chelsea in 2015 was like this; his players a shadow of the team that had won the title.

More protests against Mike Ashley outside St James' Park today
Plenty of consistency at Wolves!
The early kick-off at the London Stadium has just finished
and it's more misery for Jose Mourinho and his Manchester United side as
they lose 3-1 to West Ham.
The Hammers led by two at the break thanks to Felipe Anderson and a Victor Lindelof own goal. Marcus Rashford pulled one back for the visitors, only for Marko Arnautovic to seal it for the home side.

Ramsey in the Arsenal side despite contract wrangle
Matt Barlow at the Emirates Stadium: Contract
rebel Aaron Ramsey starts against Watford but there’s no sign of
Sokratis. Unai Emery said he was over the dead leg which made him
doubtful but he’s not in the squad. Rob Holding at centre-half with
Mustafi.
After six games unchanged Javi Gracia makes his first change of the season with Marc Navarro in at right-back to replace Daryl Janmaat who is injured.

VIDEO: Brighton's players inspect the surface at the Etihad
Sami Mokbel: Marcus Bettinelli had his
gloves on when he answered the call that sent him into a spin. Not the
kind you'd expect a goalkeeper to wear, though. A pair of Marigolds.
England's newest keeper had planned to surprise girlfriend Nadia by sprucing up their flat when Darren Preston, Fulham's chief operating officer, flashed up on his phone.
'He asked if the FA had been on to me - I thought it was a home drug test, the last thing I wanted on my day off,' recalled Bettinelli.

Football never fails to surprise me. I have been in the game
for 20 years and every season a story will pop up that leaves you
thinking: 'Really?'
It has happened quicker than normal in this campaign. The story that I am struggling to understand is how Arsenal are prepared to let Aaron Ramsey — a midfielder with such ability and someone I hold in the highest regard — run his contract down and walk away for nothing next summer.
Clearly, there are things going on behind the scenes that we do not know about. What I am sure of, though, is Ramsey's ability and it seems odd that Arsenal, according to reports, are not looking to find a compromise given his influence on the team.
