The Sweet Escape: Gwen Stefani leaves the city as she spends a wild day with husband and children at safari park

She returned to London with her brood over the weekend.
But it seems it doesn’t take long for Gwen Stefani to feel like a caged animal as she gathered her troops together for a day at Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire.
The No Doubt singer, her husband Gavin Rossdale and sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 4, looked like they were having a truly wild day to remember as they got close to rhinos and monkeys on Wednesday.

Shunning safari attire the 43-year-old stood out wearing a bright red tank top which matched her trademark red lips.

She teamed the top with a pair of casual boyfriend fit trousers while she wore her long blonde hair loose with a simple black headband around her crown – a style she has been spotted wearing a number of times since her stay in London.
Gavin kept his look equally as cool wearing a pair of blue chinos with a trendy denim shirt, undone to reveal his grey T-shirt beneath.

The stylish family were seen driving around the well-known wildlife park  and fortunately for them they were able to get up close and personal to a rhino.
At one point a nosy monkey even came to say hello, perhaps eager to see who the famous guests were.
Perched on the wing mirror, the family eagerly looked at the visitor and Gavin was seen leaning across Gwen to take a picture.

After some animal spotting the boys had a go in the adventure playground and not wanting to miss out on the fun their father Gavin also joined in.
Looking like a big kid the Bush singer was seen riding a zip wire, and by the look of his face and his landing it was the ride of his life.
The family have been making the most of their time in London so far and have been spotted spending lots of time together.

On Tuesday Gavin and Gwen took the children to the park in Primrose Hill to continue their fun-filled break.
Gwen is no doubt delighted to have all her family together, as last year she opened up about hard it was without Gavin when he hit the road with his band Bush, their first tour in a decade.
She said: ‘I mean, he was there for me mentally, but physically? These boys are physical. They wake up and they start punching each other!
‘One thing we’ve had in our relationship the whole time is that we can have it both ways: together, not together, and it’s fine. But when you have kids? It’s not so great. They need him.’
