61-year-old Irish farmer Alan Graham probably was not expecting to ever find his name in the lead story on People.com, yet, lo and behold, there it appeared this morning thanks to a dispute between Graham... and Rihanna.
The pop star had received permission from Graham to shoot the music video for her (excellent) new single "We Found Love" in his grain field.
However, as Rihanna danced away in an, um, unusual red hankerchief bikini number, Graham drove his tractor over to the shoot and halted production.
Rihanna was told to cover up by an Irish farmer
"I have an ethos and I felt [her clothing] was inappropriate," Graham told the BBC. "I requested them to stop and they did."
Despite the conflict, the two parties parted ways amicably, and Rihanna found a different location to film the rest of her video.
Graham -- perhaps trying to make the most of his 15 minutes? -- couldn't help but get in one more uncalled-for zinger
"I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends," Graham said later. "Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.
"She was most gracious and we shook hands and we parted on good enough terms," he said.
C'mon, Graham-y, all you had to do was YouTube just one of Rihanna's videos to figure out what you were getting yourself into...
